Radiological Risk Assessments
During the cold war, management and disposal of radioactive materials
in the former Soviet Union was haphazard.
This
legacy has resulted in a risk of contaminated
radioactive materials being used in building
construction, principally steel and aggregates.
To address this concern, Resource Management and Research
can perform radiological risk assessment surveys of lands and buildings to check
for the presence of radiological contamination.
A radiological risk assessment adds value to a property and gives our clients peace of mind that everything has been done to reduce the ‘hidden’ risks of radiation affecting staff and families.
All radiological risk assessment surveys are performed by UK certified Radiation Protection Supervisors (RPS) using industry approved monitoring equipment.
Building Energy Efficiency Audits
Resource Management and Research can carry out out energy efficiency audits of buildings for upgrading, refurbishment or new construction.

Building Conveyance
Thermal imaging of your property can provide a valuable insight into many 'hidden' problems or defects in the building envelope. Faulty insulation, leaking pipes, roof leaks, moisture in walls and ceilings, failing door seals, blockages in heating or cooling systems, faulty wiring and many other problems can be detected by our surveyors.
We use thermal imaging cameras as a tool to help detect the tell-tale temperature anomalies that occur from heat losses and air leakages in building envelopes. Thermal imaging is used to check the effectiveness of insulation in a building's construction.
